long car rides. agonizing hills. small roads. yet the best pictures. if this is appealing to you, be sure to check out the Hollywood sign. amazing view of the city, and also a little instagram moment for all my photo advocates. oh and be sure to bring something to drink. trust me, you'll need it.

phuc loc tho

otherwise called the Vietnamese night market. it usually happens during the summer from the months of may-august. so be sure to visit in the summer. the food is amazing, and also super affordable. as you walk by, you can vividly taste and smell the wonderful flavors of Vietnam. your taste buds salvage for a taste of everything. this is a must try location for my fellow food lovers out there. don't be intimidated by the crowd, everyone is there for the same reason, to enjoy amazing food.

nếp café

wow! first time seeing color on this blog! this delicious cafe is an exception. the food is to die for. literally amazing. the bone marrow is a must. the fluffy Vietnamese baguette with that fatty, melt in your mouth marrow, is freaking delicious. keep in mind that this place is on the pricer side of things, so be sure to dig deep into that savings account! go during brunch, but try to get there early won't ya? because boy if you get there late, then you'll be waiting for 60+ mins. if you end up not liking the food, email me, and I'll venmo you your bill. this place is that good.

where to stay?

intercontinental hotel dtla

this hotel is truly the best hotel I've been too. other than the weird elevator system, the whole place is super nice. with incredible interior and exterior. it is however, on the more expensive side, almost about 300-400 a night for a family of 4. 100% recommend this hotel if you're in downtown la. it's close to a shopping center, so it's perfect for all of my shopaholics.

900 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90017

other must try restaurant

California's staple restaurant, full of greasy, cheesy food. it's incredibly affordable, and will always hit the spot. 10x better than McDonalds. trust me, it's good.

you can literally find this everywhere

portions are huge and affordable. be sure to come with a big appetite. and they only serve pho, if you couldn't tell from the name
